I have expertise in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, a treatment approach that has been shown to be highly effective in the treatment of many difficulties, including anxiety, depression, and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). If you choose to work with me, our work will be time-limited and ultimately focused on helping you learn to be your own therapist. We will work together to assess and fully understand any problems that may be causing you pain. Based on this mutual understanding, we will help you build and practice helpful skills to manage difficult emotions and address problems in your life. Once you begin to feel confident in your skills to reduce your distress and address real-world problems, our work may turn toward helping you deepen your understanding of yourself as you navigate the ongoing challenges of life and move toward your goals.
